Valspar Academy is located at the Valspar Wood Coating facility near the International Furniture Market in High Point. The academy was designed as a “hands-on” educational and training center for the largest distributors of Valspar Wood Coatings in the southeast region.

The design included formal and causal meeting spaces, state of the art classroom space, finishing and paint booth spaces, and private work stations.

The design included sand blasted paint over brick walls, the restoration of the existing wood columns, beams, and ceiling. The design by Metropolis Architecture also featured custom partitions, furniture, display cases that featured the Valspar product.
